About Me

 Diane Pahler

In 2014, I found myself on an uncharted adventure when I participated in a 2-year spiritual leadership/practitioner program. Introduced to various contemplative practices, I adopted mindfulness meditation as my primary meditation practice. Deepening my practice with silent meditation retreats and classes from leading meditation and educational organizations. Concurrently, I participated in the secular Compassion(CCT), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), and Mindful Based Stress Reduction(MBSR) courses developed by the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford, The Center for Mindful Self-Compassion, University of Massachusetts Medical Center and The Awareness Training Institute. I became fascinated with the neuroscience and the practices of Loving Kindness and Self-Compassion. I experienced a profound life-changing shift as I witnessed transformations in myself and my fellow participants. These experiences further validated the effectiveness of these programs and my heart's desire to provide others with the same opportunities for self-discovery, transformation, and resilience. Upon successful completion of  Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) and Mindful Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher Training with the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness, I continue to pursue my professional development toward certification.  I since transitioned from a career in Sales and Marketing to a Mindfulness & Self-Compassion practitioner. I am a mother of two and a lifetime advocate for holistic health and wellness.
